hello. im christie.
I am a UX designer with a Master of Human Computer Interaction degree from Carnegie Mellon University. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in political science with the hopes of attending law school. It wasn’t until my sophomore year that I was introduced to the world of UX design through a class for non-technical majors. It completely changed my definition of design and what it means to center our decision around users. I felt so strongly for the area that I chose to drastically change my future plans and look into how I could further my studies and experience in UX design. But I know that my humanities courses shaped my thinking in a way that positively impacts the decisions I make today. My liberal arts and design background has helped me, and continues to help me, see problem spaces from multiple perspectives.
